Quality Inspector – FARO Arm

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating FARO arm program ideally in either Delcam PowerInspect, Polyworks IAW: to the engineering drawing
• Inspection of parts (WIP and final product), its paperwork and packaging against the applicable requirements and configuration at the relevant stages in the manufacturing process, by use of FARO arm and conventional inspection methods in accordance with the inspection plans
• CMM Inspection (PC-Dmis) – internal training can be provided
• Contain and declare detected non-conformances in accordance with the quality system
• Assist and support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities
• Actively participate in safety improvement activities
• Perform all reasonable requests made by management

Key Requirements:

Essential

• Ability to interpret technical documentation (drawings, specifications and procedures, GD&T)
• Confident FARO arm programming knowledge
• Experience in using standard measuring equipment (f.i. calliper, micrometre, gauges etc.)
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively (written & verbal)
• Flexible as shift work may be required
• Good computer literacy
• Results focused
• Willingness to learn new skills

Desirable

• A working knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100
• CMM inspection experience (PC-Dmis)
