Production Operator – Cold Form

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Good H&S Practice and report all hazards to area Team Leader with practical solutions in mind.
• Perform basic press operations using SOP, VAD & Data sheets including tool set up to support production
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Team Leader or Leading Hand
• Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards
• Maintain good housekeeping and support 5s initiative within the work shop
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the TPM charts
• Maintain a flexible attitude & Perform all reasonable requests made by management
• Basic technical understanding of sheet metal application with a practical hands on approach to any given task.

• Flexible (overtime when required)
• Problem solving and willing to engage in continuous improvement projects
• Good time keeper
• Experience of working with Aluminium is beneficial
• Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely

Desirable

• Previous experience as a Press Operator
• Previous experience as a Fork Lift Truck Driver (FLTD)
• Previous sheet metal experience
