Senior Aerospace Thermal Engineering holds five Nadcap approvals covering Heat treatment, Welding, NDT penetrant, Non-conventional machining (Laser), Chemical processing (acid etch). These approvals along with our ISOEN 9001 and AS9100 Rev C / BS EN 9100:2009, ISO 9001:2008 certification, augment our primes approvals including Airbus, Airbus Canada, Avica, BAE Systems, Bombardier, GKN Aerospace, HS Marston, ITP, Leonardo Helicopters UK, MTU Aero Engines, Rolls Royce, Safran, Spirit Aerosystems.

We carry out testing and inspection using sophisticated measuring technologies including:

Mechanical testing: Senior Aerospace Thermal Engineering’s mechanical testing is approved by NADCAP for Tensile Tests to AC7101/3, Hardness to AC7102/5 and Conductivity

Dye Penetrant testing: We have a full Dye Penetrant line in-house with capability to test parts up to 6m in length

X-ray testing: Carried out offsite

Dimensional inspection: is carried out to customer requirements using a combination of

• Inspection jigs/fixtures
• CMM inspection
• FARO arm inspection
• Laser scan inspection
